Our Story

An Australian mum's inspired story:

Our story began from the birth of our little boy. At his newborn photoshoot, the photographer used a 'moss green' theme and while daydreaming of creating a baby and kidswear clothing brand a few months later, there it was - our son's moss-themed newborn photo. The name 'Moss Kids' was born.

A few months after showering our son with nothing but love (and patience during all those overnight wakes), I realised that as a mother, it was extremely difficult to spend much time away from him. He inspired me to follow a life-long interest of mine and combine this with my knowledge from my work as an Occupational Therapist to design sensory-friendly kids clothing. Creating easy-to-dress, versatile and beautiful clothing is a must for our family-owned business to allow you more time for play and to delight in the day. 

Our boy is and will continue to be my motivation for this creative process.
